Castle Zleby

This is a 42Mpx photo of the Castle Žleby located in the Czech Republic.

This beautiful castle dates from the 13th century. It gradually changed many owners and eventually ended up as a state castle (in the care of the National Heritage Institute).

At this chateau there were filmed numbers of fairy tales, for example one of the versions of the world-famous Sleeping Beauty.

This photo was taken from the castle grounds towards a large tower surrounded by trees, which evoke a similar impression as from the fairy tale.

There are also large gardens around the chateau, but it is worth mentioning the game park, where unique white deer are bred.
