Vruja Bay in Croatia

This is the wide-angle photo of Vruja Bay from Croatia. This beautiful place with a beach and reefs is situated between Omis and Makarska Riviera.

This place is special for the fact that salt water is mixed with freshwater from the Cetina river. It creates interesting phenomena on the sea, observable as distinctive circles on the water surface.

Based on a local legend, there is a sunken city Pelegrin whose bells are heard at stormy nights.

At the time of taking this picture, a very strong wind was blowing, therefore the image was taken by hand without a tripod.
