Königssee Landscape

The photo shows the lake Königssee situated in the area called Berchtesgaden in Bavaria, south of Germany. It is the deepest lake in Germany and also one of the deepest lakes in middle Europe. It is surrounded by 3 high peaks - Watzmann (3rd highest in Germany), Jenner and Hagengebirge. It is famous for its beautiful boat trips and extraordinary nature.

The picture was taken from Hitler's Eagle's nest. In the foreground of the picture, you can notice a nice violet flower called heather.

Although the weather was not perfect, the view was still amazing.

We took the picture by hand and the resolution is 42 megapixel.
