Tree in blossom

The picture shows a branch full of the first spring blossoms.

It is very probably a cherry tree and it was situated close to a small pond in the Czech Republic. The white blossoms are in the foreground of the picture (sharply visible), while the rest of the nature is visible in the background (bokeh).

According to the local tradition, people in love should kiss each other under cherry blossoms. It is said that if it is done, the girl will not fade and she will be beautiful. Unfortunately, this habit is timed for May 1st when the trees are usually out of bloom.

The photo was taken by hand with the use of macro ring 10mm.
